Research On Ship Design Planning Management Based On Digital Shipbuilding

Facing the collective reshuffle of shipbuilding industry currently, we will have toimplement strategic transformation. We need to transform our focus on the quality of itsdevelopment, which means to rely on technology, innovation and other measures to achieveindustrial upgrading, efficiency changing and beneficial improving. In order to achieve thegoal of digital shipbuilding, we should promote the information technology in shipbuildingindustry.Currently during the manufacturing process of the product, design occupies a largeproportion of the entire life cycle, and it also locks more than seventy percent of the cost. Sothe ship design cycle, efficiency, quality will have a direct impact on the ship constructioncycle and its cost. In view of this situation, this paper launches a series of studies focusingon the ship design project management. The main contents and results of this study asfollowed:（1）Basing on the analysis of the concept about ship design project management, thispaper discussed the process of ship design project management and its intrinsic relationship.Considering the current situation and existing problems of ship design, the main content ofthe ship design project management was confirm, also the entire process was given.（2）According to the analysis of ship design process, this paper summed up the maincontent requirement and approach to achieve seamless connection of each design stage.Besides, this thesis expounded the development and application of Ship Work BreakdownStructure in the shipbuilding industry, in the view of this, the Ship Work BreakdownStructure working on ship design process would be researched as emphasis, so as todecompose, plan and assign the ship design tasks. The building of a standard, specificationdesign task breakdown structure and the principles of decomposition also would beestablished.（3）A set of management program would be proposed aiming at the ship designproject. Basing on the discussion and analysis of pre-planning work, this paper cleared theplanning process. In order to monitor the plan’s implementation dynamically, the method ofcontrolling, tracking, adjusting during the process of program implementation would beestablished. After these, it researched the closeout and evaluation of the project.（4）Being based on the demand of the ship design planning management system, thispaper would design the ship design project management system, whose main functional module, frame, workflow and database would be put forward. Besides, it would show thefunction interface of ship design project management system. Meanwhile, this thesissummed up the application status and effectiveness of the system.
