With the continuing development of the Ocean Develop Technology in recently years, Marine Industry and the relevant industry have a deeper improvement. In order to enhance the marine globe marketing share-rate and the competition of Made In China, the marine automation control technology plays an important roles. The Marine Alarm Monitoring System (MAMS) is one important part of the marine automation control technology, which main function is monitor the operating data of the major component and equipment of the ship in the real time, judging system alarm fault, notice the system alarm information, location and maintain information to the maintaining engineer. Besides, MAMS is also an important data-source to analyze the fault reason, to estimate the risk, to update the system function. Therefore, the reliable of MAMS is the essential foundation of the Marine safety. The reliable of MAMS is established in the reliability of hardware, of network and communication, and of data. Through the analysis and calculation of several redundancy model, get the dual Active-Standby hot-redundancy-model, which support the real-switch while a hardware malfunction, to avoid the system paralyzed. The application of the Ring-type network and Topology monitoring model is also a way to ensure of the system data reliability. On the other hand, in order to keep the strictly accuracy of the system data, based on the analysis of the alarm data model, the MAMS which use the application of user right-management, operation trace log, data cross-reference and e-mail data log, make the system operation and alarm data-log totally safe and reliable.
