Compared with the past, In order to meet the need of the market, now the newly-built seeks for more and more safety and humanity, which specially incarnates in the shipping automatization.With the rapid development of computer and new technology, there is an advancement in the shipping automatization . Engine room is the "core" to the ship, and it's also indicating the significance of automatization in shipping. Now, ship with high add-ons has realized "self-service engine room", it not only reduces the labor intensification of the manager, but also improve the stability of the sailing ship.As one part of the engine room- automatization, go without saying, the engine room monitoring and alarm system is more and more important. This article is based on the design example of engine room monitoring and alarm system for some bulk cargo ship, in combination with the actual circumference, dividing which into some subsystems, for example, main engine system, power station, boiler system, fuel system, lubrication system and so on. This system is based on the S7-200PLC of Germanic SIEMENS, configuration software and with Profibus-DP as the communication protocol ,making the data of the whole system transmitted faster and faster .This article, in detail, introduce the development of system, future trend, Profibus—DP, the compare of several fieldbus, and the application of the configuration software so on. In the hardware and software ways, adopts the way of the host station and monitoring station as an organic whole, that is monitoring computer (CP5611 in the interior), is also the monitoring station and DP host station, S7-200PLC which combines the EM277 Profibus DP with Profibus network system as system slave station, in use of the SIMATIC STEP7-Micro/WIN4.0 PLC programme software to program the configuration, interface parameter and partly system software of the system. |
