Power system, that is, power generation, transmission, substations, distribution andelectricity sectors such as the composition of the electric energy production andconsumption systems. Electric power system, from the transformer, electric powerlines, transformation, transmission, distribution equipment, formed part of the energyis called electricity network. The substation is the power line network, the connectionpoint, mainly for voltage conversion, power transmission and energy distribution.Therefore, the substation’s security and stability of the economic operation of powersystem security and stability constitutes an important component of the economy.With the substation relay protection devices, automatic devices, remote devices andmonitoring devices, computer-based, and by the second part of the optimization ofsubstation design, and reasonable sharing of software resources and hardwareresources, substation basically realized by the conventional substation to theintegrated automation substation transition. At present, a device of the intelligent,secondary equipment, networks, operation management system, automation, alsomakes substation continue to work in the digital direction.With a higher level of substation automation, substation management model hasalso gradually been on duty by the substation to the use of centralized control centerto manage unmanned substation paradigm shift. In order to reconcile the rapiddevelopment of regional power grid and running understaffed contradictions, set theobject-oriented control center or from several dozen to expand to the regional gridsubstation within the dozens of substations to achieve scheduling also offering themanagement of centralized control center type.All-digital substation and control substation integrated management model is thefuture trend of development, but also constitute an important basis for smart grid, butthe intelligent devices and advanced management mode of how to adapt to each otherand to coordinate the operation, the key is monitoring system. The face of dozens ofsubstations to send up the device information, how the original set of control by themonitoring system on a more effective and more applicable to the intelligent controlmode analysis and processing, and targeted monitoring and control, with a view toimprove the power grid across the region operation level, this paper is to study thepurpose and significance. In this paper, by the Fuzhou region of the220kV power transformer under thecentralized control of the current status of research and analysis monitoring systemput forward a new management model suitable monitoring system under the researchprogram, namely, the regional power grid to run intelligent monitoring system.Intelligent monitoring system separately from the signal naming, signal classificationnorms, signal intelligence analysis and processing, alarm functions and auxiliaryfunctions to increase the original five areas based on the improved and perfected.This paper presents a regional power grid operation intelligent monitoring system,in particular the forthcoming implementation of the regulation applies to themanagement mode of the substation integrated unified control, under the new modelcan improve the efficiency of operating personnel with high practicality andengineering application value.
