In the thermal power plant, water is essential to a substance, it is like the blood of boiler, plays a vital role. It absorbs the heat which released by the fuel, into water vapor, so as to promote the work of the steam turbine to drive the generator to generate electricity, Ever fount power. However, in natural water in general contains many impurities, with the water evaporation, will scale formation on the heating surface of the boiler, the heat conduction performance of scale several hundred times worse than metal, hinder the normal heat transfer, iron temperature to pass out, over the limit will make the heating surface superheat damage; at the same time in order to maintain the original boiler the output, it is necessary to increase coal consumption, a lot of waste fuel, shorten the service life of the boiler, increase the maintenance quantity. So we must to the raw water chemical treatment, water softening, improve the utilization efficiency of the boiler.In view of the importance of chemical water treatment, this paper is to design a set of chemical water PLC to upgrade the control system reconstruction project of a power plant in Guizhou, according to the chemical water treatment process, the process is complex, the number of dispersed location and equipment characteristics, this paper uses the remote I/O control idea, to Schneider Inc PLC series as a hot standby the lower position machine, the Wonderware company InTouch constitutes a. set of chemical water treatment control system for the upper software, the monitor screen in the integrated system of chemical water in a control room, and realizes the remote monitoring function to the whole chemical water system, and local/remote control.
