China’s rapid economic development leads to increasing energy consumption. In the context of energy saving, and environment protect, we must find a new growth point of energy to reduce dependence on conventional energy sources. In this background, wind power, solar power-based energy rise, the rapid increase in the total installed capacity. Solar because of its own as a clean energy, with zero cost, environmentally friendly, etc., has been more and more popular.Before the investment and construction of solar power projects, we must do a feasibility study, said small side, which is to ensure corporate earnings from major aspects to ensure that countries do not say this is a waste of resources. Especially in the new energy ascendant background, only through scientific argumentation, can make sure using resources effectively. In this paper, Xilinhot 20MWp photovoltaic power plant feasibility study to analyze the site’s solar energy resources, exploration of regional geology, carried out market forecasts and demand analysis, project financial analysis. According to estimates of this article, Xilinhot 20MWp photovoltaic power plant is feasible to see financial benefits, from the technical point of view the project is in line with scientific laws.
