A reliable supply of electric power is the important premise to maintain the national economy development and guarantee people’s normal life. The distribution network is combined with electric power users and charged with the task of the distribution of electric power to users. The comprehensive and scientific evaluation is of great importance in order to guide the construction of the distribution network and optimize the allocation of power resources. On the other hand, micro-grid has the advantages of low carbon, energy saving and economy compared with traditional distribution network. The distribution network is developing in the direction of distribution network containing micro-grid. The paper has a further study of comprehensive evaluation index system and comprehensive evaluation method for the planning scheme of the distribution network containing micro-grid.The paper summarizes the basic steps to establish a comprehensive evaluation system from the constituent elements of comprehensive evaluation. And then analyzes the basic principles to select the evaluation index and construct evaluation index system. It also has a detailed analysis of several comprehensive evaluation methods which are widely used in distribution network planning.The paper proposes a method to construct the evaluation index system based on correlation elimination by extracting the common factors. The method can make the underlying index independent between each other as much as possible. Based on this method, the paper gives full consideration to the characteristics of the distribution network containing microgrid, then builds a set of scientific, comprehensive, reasonable and practical comprehensive evaluation index system to evaluate the distribution network planning scheme containing microgrid. The paper also describes the meaning of the evaluation index and calculation methods.The paper has an in-depth study on the comprehensive evaluation method of planning programs of the distribution network containing micro-grid. It has further improvement on index weight set in the same layer of the index system using analytic hierarchy process(AHP) and its improved methods. On the basis, the paper puts forward a balanced evaluation method. The balanced indicator is calculated on the deviation degree between the underlying index score and the comprehensive score and combined with the underlying index comprehensive weight. For this, it can be judged whether planning exists excessive imbalance. Combing the balanced indicator with comprehensive score can make a more comprehensive and reasonable evaluation of planning scheme.Use a city’s planning scheme of distribution network containing micro-grid as an example, apply the described comprehensive evaluation index system and the comprehensive evaluation method for calculation and analysis to verify the correctness and validity.
