| Stable and efficient operation of hydropower system is based on the controlling of regulation system, and hydro-turbine governing system dynamics is directly related to the merits of the power quality and the safety of workers. Simulation of hydro-turbine governing system contributes to an understanding of the regulation process in the operation process with the disturbance. Thus, the simulation of hydro-turbine governing system has attracted more attention.Based on the principle of turbine governing system, this paper divided the hydro-turbine governing system into conduit system, hydro-turbine, generator, governor by the modular modeling method. The model of every subsystem is deduced and established, and its advantages, disadvantages and applicable condition are analyzed. So establishing suitable mathematical model should be depended on specific purpose and requirements.This paper proposes a new hydraulic turbine model which considers the influence of the turbine efficiency based on the present hydraulic turbine models. In combination with governor of hydraulic turbine, hydraulic system and generator, the hydro-turbine governing system is established based on the Matlab/Simulink platform, then does the simulation test. According to the simulation model, this article performed no-load frequency disturbance test and load disturbance test, and analyzed the simulation results of the new hydraulic turbine model. By selecting different parameters, the paper qualitatively analyzed the effects of the dynamic characteristics of the controlled object parameters and governor parameters. The new hydraulic turbine model still needs further study and improvement. |
