Research On Risk Management Of Jiangyuan Waterworks In Minhang District

Many unpredictable factors arising in the construction and operation of the construction project will slow down its process and bring in risks due to its large scale of investment, long construction period, technical complexity and surrounding environment. Without proper prevention in advance, those risks will not only hinder the schedule of the projects, but also cause severe consequences. The construction and operation of water plant is a dynamic process filled with risks, this is particularly true of the construction of large water plant. Due to its complexity and the existence of unpredictable factors, any risks will endanger its operation and implantation in process planning, construction, operation and anther other process.The thesis studies project risks in the construction and operation in the first phase project of Jiangyuan Water Plant. Based on the characteristics of the project, the thesis identifies and analyzes the main risks in terms of its construction and operation, and put forward corresponding measures to improve its risk management with the hope to enhance risk awareness of the project investors, reduce the degree of risks and ensure a smooth project schedule.The thesis is intended to serve as a reference for risk management in similar projects.
