In this dissertation, a research has been made about the lethal and non-lethal compatibly launcher. First, three technical ways were put forword:variable mass and stiffness of the automat; the barrel slotted; separable bullet. The structure design of the compatibly launcher was done. Then, according to the internal and external ballistic model, calculating the internal and external ballistic performance of different ammunition, analyzing the influence of the barrel’s mass distribution on the internal and external ballistic performance, determining the scheme of barrel’s mass distribution. The multi-body dynamics simulation model of the compatibly launcher was bulit in ADAMS. Under the different technical ways, the influence of the key parameters on the system dynamics was analyzed. The model to analyzing the reliability of ammunition feed was bulit. According to classification of the fit tolerance and abrasion of automata motion guide rail, the parameters of the counterrecoil spring,and the bore pressure, classifying the reliability of three different ways, then analyzing the reliability and the influence of the random factors on it.In the end, the experimental prototype using the slotted barrel and separable bullet was developed, Through the experiment proved that it could realize the launch of lethal and non-lethal compatibly.
