10KV Switching Station is the important establishment of the intercity distributing network. The realization of Integrated Switching Station Automation (IS SA) is of great significance in distribution automation. In this thesis, the author analyzed and compared the development and different viewpoints in the Integrated Substation Automation (ISA), and combined them with the structure and status of Switching Station, then decided a distributed-structure scheme. The author gave out a detailed description of this scheme, and designed a part of the hardware and software of the transmission line unit. Finally a test was carried out to test the correctness of the design.
