Probe On Landscape Planning For Small Towns In The South Of Yangtze River

During the construction of small towns in the South of Yangtze River, some phenomena have appeared such as ignoring the unique and sensitive, natural and human cultural ecological environment, pushing over all or denying the original countryside landscape blindly. Then it leads to the destruction of ecological environment, the confusion of structures of small towns, the disappearance of local characteristics, etc. In addition, people are aware of the importance of ecological environment more and more, they desire to build natural and cultural environment, so as to releive their mental pressure, and remove all kinds of people's deformed behaviors under the development of economy. With the improvement of people' s living standard and the development of science and technology, leisure time have increased, people are longing for more healthy and relaxed living space. Therefore, only several parks and green spaces can't satisfy people's demands. Enlightened from the traditional countryside environment, guided by the ideas of "sustainable development" and "based on people", according to the principles of Landscape Ecology and system engineering, through analyzing and researching the patterns of landscape ecology, green-open-space system, vision-space qualities, local history and culture, mountains and rivers aesthetic artistry. And as far as the basic characteristics and existing problems of small towns in the south of Yangtze River is considered, this paper puts forward some possible planning ways for dwelling regions, roads, waterscape and plants which can fully embody the characteristics of the South of Yangtze River. And tries to build a kind of ecological environment in the regions of rivers and lakes in the South of Yangtze River, and hopes it can guide the landscape development, strengthen individual character, realize the aims of landscape planning for small towns. Thus, it improves the harmonious development of society, economy and ecology, leads the small towns in the South of Yangtze River to sustainable development, realizes urban-rural integration, and accelerates the urbanization in our country. At the same time, it creates ideal pastoral towns which show the idea of "human and nature coexisting harmoniously "and meet people's demand . It also explores the ecological landscape plan and design which can solve the contradictions between traditions and realities, realities and ideals, etc.
