The Research Of Asphalt Pavement Design Method Under Heavy Load

The percentage of heavy vehicle and over-load vehicle became more and more in recent year. The current pavement design method can't meet the requirements of the usage of road where there are more heavy or over-loaded vehicles. There is blindness for road engineering using the initial design method. And which leads to initial damage. Based on the known research, including load picture, axes conversion, damage mechanism of heavy asphalt pavement, the paper reseaches heavy load design parameter, heavy load design index, structure combined design deeply, suggested the design method of heavy load asphalt pavement and testified it by example.
