Our country's current asphalt pavement design specification takes the routine loads as a basis. In addition to pavement materials's non-linear nature, it is not permit to use it for heavily loaded pavement design from the angle of the project structure security.In order to reduce the early destruction caused over-load vehicle and heavy vehicle. This paper established the relationship between the axle change and surface deflection and tensile strain at the structure bottom and pavement rut through the anlysis of the surface deflection, ensile strain at the structure bottom and pavement rut's characteristic. Analysed the deficiency of the current loads diagrammatic,put forward the mechanical graphs suitable for heavy traffic asphalt pavement according to the function characteristic between the heavy vehicle and asphalt pavement, and also compare it with original mechanic diagrammatic.According to the equivalent principle, this paper establish the axles conversion formula of surface deflection and tensile strain at the base bottom and pavement rut.at the foundation of heavy traffic asphalt pavement damage mechanism. Carrying out the reseach of heavy traffic asphalt pavement's design, traffic , material index and structure combined design etc on the foundation the reseach of heavy-loads diagrammatic, damage mechanism and axles conversion, Propose the design method suitable for heavy traffic asphalt pavement systematically.
