Study On The Automatic Hardware Testing System Of Digital Protection Sets

With the development of the electron industry,the automatic testing of the PCB board become the key of the electron industry. Furthermore, the connection of the testing apparatus and computer become probable with the development of the computer and communicate technology. The study and development of the automatic testing system based net has been taken into account . The automatic testing system is researched to test the CPU main boards of digital protection sets . The system performs the function test and judge whether the tested board is qualified or not.The testing items are digital input channels, digital output channels, analog input channels, protection setting zones, serial I/O ports, Lonworks channel. The testing system not only can judge whether the board is qualified or not, but also can search out the fault sphere and decide the possible fault type. The structure is divided into 3 parts: the PC, the testing board and CPU boards. The PC controls the whole testing process and saves the testing data to the testing database. The testing board tests the CPU boards under the control of the PC. The system is available and fast from the operation status. It can test the kinds of boards and can test 8 boards at the same time. Then it reduces time for testing and improves the efficiency. Meanwhile the system provides convenient and shortcut interface and its management of testing data is secure and complete.
