Research On The Maintenance Of Ocean Ship

With the development of shipping industry and the increasing competition of shipping market, it is required that shipping companies' shipping management is stricter than ever. However, the patterns of shipping management lag behind it relatively and the management methods are still in the traditional state. Viz. all matters are handled by hand such as company plan, record, plan, purchase of spare and supplies etc. These factors severely restrict the development of shipping technical management, for example, the efficient use of management expenses, the safety of ship, operation factor, the service life of ship, the professional ability of managerial handler and what is more, the dissatisfaction of client. Therefore this paper mainly concerns the optimization of the maintenance of ocean shippings.Ocean shipping's maintenance is one of the most important part of technical management, the second chapter of this paper is mainly about the status of the technical management in our country and a brief analysis about the relationship between maintenance and technical management. Based on the reality of a domestic shipping company, chapter 3rd makes a deep analysis on shipping maintenance theory, specify the status and problems lies in our present shipping companies. From the analysis of the first two chapters, the fourth chapter provides the necessary of constructing a scientific shipping maintenance system and the main contents of this system. A new maintenance method called pertinence maintenance is also introduced in chapter fourth. Chapter fifth is mainly about the cost control of shipping maintenance, integrated with the practice of our shipping company, combined with my work experience, chapter fifth provides two useful models-shipping repair factory chosen model and repair cycle model. These models have positive meaning to the improvement of the management of shipping maintenance. The development of modern science made it possible to widely use the advanced methods in shipping maintenance, chapter sixth is mainly about the application of modern science in shipping maintenance, such as IT, Optimize Theory and Decision Support System. The last chapter of this paper talks about some factor need to be noticed during the implementation of shipping maintenance plan.
