It is an efficient way to improve the curving speed in the existing line by using tilting train. At the present, the tilting trains have been put into practical application in many country. It is proved that the tilting train with economy, comfort and corresponding environment has becoming an important developing direction of the railway vehicle in the world.The tilting train application is the austere challenge to the traditional model in management, production and application. To our railway transportation department, the tilting train is the bran-new and high-tech product. It is an important issue being solved urgently for the railway transportation department in our country how the tilting train will be popularized and run safely and efficiently.The efficiency of maintenance vehicle is the key to enhance the application efficiency. Using a suit of debug facility with perfect functions, advancing technology and convenience is the strongly measure to insure efficient maintain. It is especially important for the tilting train. Now, as there is no tilting control system that can be used in our country, some of the railway manufactories are developing the tilting train whose tilting control system is imported from ESW corporation. The carbody tilting system produced by ESW receives the necessary operation commands from the Train Control System (TCS) via the tilting communication interface CAN-bus and realizing the carbody tilting function. So, for the practical application, developing the debug system based on CAN bus for the tilting control system in tilting train is the urgent affairs.In this paper, according to the actuality of the development, manufacture and application for tilting train in our country, the debug system based on CAN bus for the tilting control system is researched.The characteristic of tilting control system being developed in our country analyzed, the principle, configuration and functions characteristic for tilting control system based on the ESW'stechnology are researched in detail. According to the advanced experience on aboard and the application status in our country. The design project of the debug facility based on CAN-Bus for tilting control system is put for ward. To insure the advanced technology and perfect functions of the debug system, the high intergrated TMS320LF2407 chip produced by TI corporation is adopted.It would provide the strongly debug system for maintenance in tilting train by the harvest of this research which would enhance energetically the efficiency and promote actively the development for railway transportation in our country.
