Research And Application On Networked Collaborative Product Development Work Supporting System

Manufacturing is one of supporting industries as far as economic development in a country. Networked manufacturing is one of the development trends of modern manufacturing industry. Manufacturing enterprises, especial abundant medium and small enterprises, have shortcomings of short of capital, little scale, technique roughness and lack of technician at present. All of these put effect on the ability of new product development. Thereby, combining the predominance of enterprises, universities and institutes is an important stratagem to face up to competition for the enterprise. Most of researches about collaborative product development are limited to theories and detail technologies, and systems that could be applied are few. This paper will carry out some researches on work supporting system and implemental mode of networked collaborative product development system.After analyzing research of international advanced manufacturing modes and technologies based on network and real situation of China, this paper has presented one kind of new collaborative product development work model--"Networked Collaborative Product Development Work Supporting System" that could support product development practically. The architecture and running mode of the system have been brought forward. The architecture includes aim architecture, structure architecture and function architecture.In succession, based on research of its architecture and running mode, this paper works over technology structure that involves a lot of supporting technology and application technology. This paper puts emphasis on the system development technology, multimedia technology and information management technology.Based on Chongqing Regional Networked Manufacturing System and considering the situation and requirements of the ceramic, a new work-supporting mode--" Ceramic Product Networked Collaborative Development Work Supporting System " has been set up. The collaborative product development among CHN&CHN Ceramic, Chongqing University and consumers has been supported by this system. And this application has shown great economic prospect.
