Dispatcher Training System For Dealing With Faults Of Power Systems Based On Computer Networks

A dispatcher training simulator for restoration of power system is studied in this paper, according to the developing tendency of the electric power technology, the author developed a net-based client/server mode fault diagnosis simulator of Hengshui power system, realized the training function of teacher PC/student PC. The simulator can train the dispatchers' ability of diagnosing and processing faults in power networks. This paper studied the method on the detection of network islands after faults, which is based on layer-separation and region-separation of network topology, the searching technique is applied to the analysis of the power system topology, simplified the process of the detection of network islands.
