Thermo-supply parameters is one of the most important information for thermo-electric power station, and must be measured and accumulated everyday, the accuracy of the measured and metering parameters affects power station's economic profit directly. With the development of measure and control system for process parameter, the developing and application of IMP data detect and control system, the development of computer local area network (LAN) and database technology, all these technology build a firm base for modernization of power station's thermo-supply monitor and metering and information sharing. The heat monitor and metering network system for power station is a new type of monitor and manage information system based on worldwide web and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database management system technology, applied to real time data monitor and calculating and accumulating the total quantity of heat for all sorts of thermo-supply pipelines and networks. The system innovatively solved the technology difficulties of Real-time ability stability security and connectivity, and realized the browsing of real-time thermo-supply parameters and the dealing of thermo-supply parameters statistic report in the whole net by using currently advanced computer network and DBMS technology and the State Power company's intranet. Among them, the DBMS adopted Microsoft SQL Server 2000 structured query database management system, the WWW server employed the Internet Information Service (IIS) 5.0, the Web page uses dynamic ActiveX Server (ASP) technology, script language is VBScript, connect the SQL Server 2000 database with ADO and SQLOLEDB technology, the operating system (OS) is Microsoft Windows2000 Server which is currently the most advanced operating system in PC servers.
