The Study Of Ooedb And Application In Structural Engineering

Since the late 70's of the twentieth,database has been applied to engineering ,such as CAD ,CAE and so on.Because the traditional data model and database can't be practicable in engineering ,people begin to study engineering database that be designed particularly for engineering.The limitation of relational database in engineering is analysed in this paper,and the realizing ways of OOEDB(Object-Oriented Engineering Database) for dealing with the defaults and the features of OOEDB is provided. The realizing techniques of OOEDB including interface programming,query processing,physical object store,data exchange and so on is studied in this paper.In addition,as a practice of above idea and theory,a datamanagement program OOPFE ( Object-Oriened Programming Finite Element) is developed in this research work considering the data' feature in structural analysis.Not only does it realize interacting input of data,but also it can input and output data into database.This raises computering efficient and enhances managing data ability of software.OOEDB is attached great importance to by people. Some probative study has been only done in this paper and is a refrence to develop engineering database.
