At present, the whole world is being faced with the water resources crisis, China is one of the 14 most poor water countries of the world. How to manage the water resources scenically, efficiently and reasonably, is a crucial mission to be faced for water science workers. The paper ascertains signification of enhancing the level of water resources management for reducing the contradiction of water supply and demand. Through researching and analyzing ofthe domestic and foreign level of water resource information management and the developing condition, combining with the characteristics of water resources of JiNing city, On the based of considering user's demand, the systemic demand analysis is done in this paper, as well as the design of database and application program. And the designing principle, developing process and realizing concretely of water resource database management system are described in detail in this paper. JiNing Water Resources DataBase Management System(JNWRDBMS) is established with advanced computer language and the technique of the database management techniques and using Object Oriented database management software- Access 2002 and in-line VBA. The JNWRDBMS realizes the functions of managing water resources data and analyzing the contradiction of supply and demand, and so enhances the efficiency and scientific approach of water resources data management with computer technology. The JNSRDBMS brings forward Object Oriented Operation Environment, so user can operate it handy, master it at ease, and not bearing in mind any boring commands. The system can also implement report dynamic print, Stat. graph mapping and output except functions of input, edit, delete, query and calculating. It can also transfer other mapping software by means of OLE technology in order to compensate some shortcoming in map aspects in the JNWRDBMS, such as Surfer, Grapher, and so on. So it shows powerful principle of system design. Moreover, it can meet the needs of water resources management routine of JiNing, and provide basal data and scientific basis for government to draw up water resource correlative policies. |
