The YZ30 type vibration roller is a kind of super-tonnage and high-technology product with the features of fully-hydraulic all-wheel driving and self-moving. In this dissertation, a systematical dynamic researches on the YZ30 vibration roller are carried out using a two degrees of freedom vibration model. The vibration parameters are decided through theory calculation. The system dynamic characteristics are simulated and the vibration parameters are optimized by means of the MATLAB software. The optimal exciting frequency and vibration amplitude under different working conditions are obtained for this kind of vibration roller. It is found that with the compactness of soil changing, the optimal working frequency varies from lower to higher, and the varying trend of amplitude is opposed. Based on the discussion on the several currently used calculation methods of vibration power, the hydraulic system of YZ30 vibration roller is designed. Above researches lay the foundation of sound design and operation for this advanced machine.
