Study And Application Of Visual Design System For Sluice

The thesis was regarded with my advisor's project - the automatic design system for sluice.First, the present situation of design for sluice was discussed simply, and the signification of developing the Visual Design System for Sluice was pointed out.Second, after the methods of design and calculation of sluice was expounded, the study between normal methods and ANSYS method in designing sluice chamber. Some significant conclusions and advices were recommended. According to the conclusions and advices, the methods used in the system were determined.As an emphasis, the present popular software such as Visual Basic, AutoCAD2000 and Word 2000 were researched and applied in the designing sluice. The system has friendly interface for user, whose inner calculating program was designed according to the latest design specification for sluice. The system can automatically generate reports that show the results of design and calculation for sluice. The corresponding tasks can be finished by the system. Automatically generated reports contain charts drawn in the AutoCAD2000, used main formula, tables of calculating result, and so on.At last, the system was applied in the calculation for the structure of Zhangjiabang sluice. The calculating reports for the sluice automatically generated.
