Research Of Waterscape In Beijing Community

Waterscape is one of the most important things in the landscape architecture of the community in Beijing. Now there are lots of communities having waterscape and the waterscape is the key factor in the community. But there are some disadvantages of Beijing, such as lack of rainfall, great evaporation, bad leakage and atrocious weather. So the waterscape has ugly appearance. Actually little research have been taken on these problems, especially on the technology of maintenance of waterscape.This article aims at resolving the problem in the maintenance and design of the waterscape of the community in Beijing. It is based on lots of investigation and research in Beijing and composed of these parts: The theory of human settlements' quality in the ancient times and modern times; The relationship between human settlements and water in Beijing; The way of waterscape design in the community of Beijing; The maintenance of waterscape in the community of Beijing.
