The Research On The Comfort Character Of The Elderly's Inhabited Environment

Along with the advent of the aging of population in the city, lots of problems have turned out. Especially in big cities that develop rapidly, the traits of the Chinese population's aging , such as great speed,long fastigium, are more obvious. At present, many inhabited community plans ignored the changing of population structure and the elderly's special inhabited needs, or lacked in-depth research on the living condition of the aged. As a result, lots of embarrassed complexion has appeared in the streets and lanes of the city. A series of problems on the substantial environment and social environment in the city have come forth. Therefore, it has been an urgent problem for our urban planners to create a comfortable inhabited environment that can satisfy the elderly's psychological needs and physiological needs.This paper started with some community surveys. Through consulting the research ways of the aged sociology,the aged psychology, and so on; tried to find out the basic traits of the elderly's comfort character, and make it a cut-in point. Referring to the native and foreign advanced experiences of the architecture design for the aged,the public service establishment system for the aged, we deeply explored the "hard environment" (the level of material establishment) and the "soft environment" (the construct of community service network) that can satisfy the elderly's comfort needs, and put forward some resolvents.
