The hereinafter description is researched the application of ergonomics on earth-moving machine in the thesis:The foundation theory of ergonomics, include the dimension of human body, designing theory of man-machine engineering system, the main factor between human, product and environment in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance.The development of ergonomics in designing and packaging for auto-body. The ergonomics is applied in automobile widely and successfully, the standard of SAE(Society of Automotive Engineers) have become the guidelines for designing of auto-body, and more research of posture and component disposing have be developed greatly base the SAE standard in other country include China.The application of ergonomics in earth-moving machine. The China Nation Standard have translated the ISO5353:1995 Earth-moving machinery, and tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry-Seat index point , ISO6682:1986 Earth-moving machinery-Human physical dimensions of operators and minimum operator space envelope into GB standard, however all the standards are based for the dimensions of occidental body and unfit with Chinese people for comfortable posture.The China promulgate the GB10000-88 Human dimensions of Chinese adults in 1988, it offer the main human dimensions of exterior body, but more dimensions of bone and joint are necessary for research of movement body position, relation between limb and trunk, and operator space envelope.Study the statistics of human dimension measure data, finding the ways and means to calculate the unknown dimension of bone and joint from known date, estimate the Chinese body bone and joint size, set up a simple solution to make up the Chinese stick-man.After collecting and comparing the data of comfortable angle of joint research of human, analysis the optimization posture of human, and study some importance angle of articulation joint and human dimensions will infect to the designing of cab, also thinking about the mathematic method to describe the human body's posture and position.The thesis also study how to reduce and make simply the freedom degree of bone joint at the situation of comfortable human posture, then achieve the movement simulation of body with the least freedom degree. Then study how to transfer the design technique of auto-body into the earth-moving machine cab designing and component packaging, and make up a series of ways and programs to design a cab of earth-moving machine for "comfortable operator". Describe how to set up a flexibility and alterable digital manikin by the software of Pro/Engineer 2001, then prove or test the theory and the ways for designing the cab of earth-moving machine by some typical wheel loader's cabs. At the end of the thesis, have a conclusion and prospect for the subject study.
