This paper aims to engineering machinery cab, using the universal principle and the method of ergonomics to optimal design, combining theoretical study with practical modeling method, covering in the full text of six chapters.Through the comparison of domestic and foreign engineering machinery cab design manufacturing situation, clearing the research background and practical significance; putting forward engineering machinery cab layout principles and methods, in the optimization design can refer to the reference of auto body layout tools.The human driver model, H point, oval eyes, head contour, knee envelope and hand reach interface were analyzed and researched, using MATLAB program calculation to determine the optimal H point region, and eye ellipse position are solved by using geometric drawing method.Contrast ISO 3411:1985 and ISO 3411:2007, finding the changes of human body size data, in order to make the completion of the GB 10000-1988 update and revision, and through the CATIA V5 HME to build China’s human body model.For a domestic mini excavator driving indoor parts modeling and optimization design, completing the cab space layout optimization, and using CATIA V5 ergonomics module to analyze the driver comfort, space envelope and vision, guaranteeing the cab model conforms to ergonomics standards and actual operating requirement.Ergonomics are organically combined in the optimization design of engineering machinery cab, providing some references to the actual engineering machinery cab design.
