A Study On Integration Between Urban Public Transport System And Land Use

In many cities in our country, the long-term separation between urban land use and transport planning results in the urban shape losing control and brings on lots of urban traffic problems. Urban public transport system is the best important part in urban passenger transport systems. The affect between urban public transport system and urban land use each other is obvious, so it is essential to develop the research on this aspect.This dissertation, based on fundamental subjects such as mathematic, game theory as well as the basic method of analyzing problems of system engineering, above all, discusses the basic theory of integration between urban public transport system and land use, which includes in the model of urban land use, theory of land exploitation, and urban public transport system. Then the dissertation founds the model of integration between urban public transport system and land use, and evaluates the model recur to the method of analytic hierarch process. Finally, on base of the analyzing the advanced experience in some foreign cities, the dissertation puts forward public transport oriented development which adapts to facts in our cities, and exemplify public transport system and land use in main city zone of Nanjing.
