Studies On The Activities Law And Characteristics Of Visitors In Hongshan Square

Facing the problems appeared in recent years in city square building and based on the data obtained from the investigations and questionnaires send to the visitors, we have carried out a research into the activities law of visitors in Hongshan Square and its humanity design, the results show that there are 2 peaks of visitors in a year, the first one appears from early spring to mid summer, the second one in autumn. The number of visitors is the most in June and the least in December. Visitors like to visit this square in the evenings of spring, summer and autumn, but in the afternoon of winter. Walk, sports, standing watching, sitting watching and sitting chatting are the visitors'main behaviors in this square, and the passing through this square, recreation, meeting and exhibition may be the main functions of this square.There is obvious number difference between the old person visitors and the others in a day. There are 4 environment characteristics on Hongshan Square to attract visitors to come, they are beautiful environment, doing shopping very easy from this square, plenary places to stay or play and spacious space. Ten minutes on foot is the favour time to come to this square, and the serving radius from square margin is 850-1100 meters.We would like to emphasize that the square planning and design should be "personism", pay attention to the design in detail, and put forward the lower pollution designing concept and personism square management the first time.
