The hydraulic system is widely applied in the industrial field because of its many characteristics such as quick response, great power, high function , easily being controlled in the long distance position and so on, but its scale and complexity increased with its application. Therefore it is urgent that we should improve its credibility and safety. To solve this problem, we take the hydraulic on-line supervisory control technique to improve its credibility and safety.For the on-line supervisory control technique of hydraulic system ,,the PLC solve the problems about credibility and safety that many experts care for in industrial field, so it is widely applied as the lower level controller, meanwhile it is a low cost, short period scheme that we design friendly real-time displaying windows by using configuration software in the super computer.The author dissertates the design and development for this project under the background of the fourth walking beam reheating furnace in hot rolling factory which is part of Wuhan Iron & Steel company after knowing about the development of the domestic and overseas on-line monitoring technique .Chapter one summarizes the signification, the characteristics, the application of supervisory control in domestic and overseas field, then it points out the problems of the old system and confirms the basis and the main content of this project.Chapter two dissertates the component and its configuration of the on-line supervisory control of hydraulic system of walking beam, including the aim, the content and the design principle of this kind of system is also discussed here, and then it introduces the application on network and PLC on-line supervisory control system for this project, including the comparability and affirmance of this system, and also introduces the actual component of this system.Chapter three dissertates the design of the PLC control and monitoring program of this system. First, it introduces the programming software Step 7, including the structure of the procedure and the blocks in Step 7. Then it introduces the task and realization of this project, the function of all kinds of blocks, running sequence of the procedure.Chapter four introduces the process communication between WinCC and PLC, between S5 PLC and S7 PLC and it also introduces the design course of the real-time displaying window.Chapter five introduces the experiment for each pump before installation and commissioning and also analyzes the experiment figure. We take special measures to improve the results in order to match the system request. Then the author introduces the resolved technique problems and the required system parameter..As a conclusion ,chapter six summarize the main achievement and also points out the future direction for the hydraulic on-line supervisory control system.
