Design Of Luminaire Database And Study On The Application Of It In The Software Of Road Lighting

In lighting design, the technical problems such as kind of luminaries, installation of luminaries are the key points of what are concerned by the lighting designer. But nowadays there are not any power luminarie database can be used by people.The conception of computer aided lighting design is a mothed which can be used in the calculation of lighting design and can also help lighting designers to select luminaries in their design. This mothed can also help to manage materials of lighting design projects. The softwares based on this conception are the softwares which are based on the new luminarie database and have the functions of calculation of lighting design , managerment of lighting design projects and outputting of schedules.The new luminarie database who aims at lighting designers and owners, records the optic character, shape, weight, price and installation of luminaries. The aspects of how the luminaries used in the projects are also recorded in the database. The program of the luminarie database inclined to the function of query of luminaries and lamps so that users can inquire, compare, select the luminaries which they want.The luminarie database are based on the mode of client-server. The solution of how to get the source and update data of the database is to use web database and ask for help to the luminarie manufactories.The luminarie database can also be used in the software of road lighting. Using ObjectARX, we studied the method of how to design and manage street lamps in the software of road lighting, which are based on the AutoCAD 2000. The method of calculation of luminance and illuminance in road lighting in computer was also studied in this thesis.
