Research On The Regulating Strategy For The Construction Of The Suburb Residential Area In Chinese Metropolitan

The residential area is the important space element of the city, and it is the main material carrier of the activity that the mankind inhabit. Since reform and opening-up especially 1990's later, our country is in the new period that the economic and society transition. Under the function of internal thrust and external gravitation in the city, the suburb residential area in metropolitan has developed rapidly. Obtainning the optimization of economic,social and environmental benefit is the basic goal of urban planning and construction in the new period. But in the actual operation of the construction of the suburb residential area in metropolitan, because of the excessive concern on the economic benefits, the construction has ignored the strategic consideration to the social and environmental benefits,all sorts of out-of-balance phenomena appear in the construction of the suburb residential area. Next, the author builds the Goal system of the construction of the suburb residential area in metropolitan, and finally draws the subject of the article based on the background analysis—current situation analysis—goal analysis, the author puts forward several valid techniques of urban planning to guide the the construction of the suburb residential area in metropolitan, and discusses the institutional environment that goes with the techniques.The author tries hard to provide a theoretic basis for the formulation of the urban macroscopic policy and urban planning management and design.
