Study On Human Geography Of The Vernacual Architectuce In Tongshan County

Researches on Human Geography, through the study on the spatial distribution of rural architecture, center on the geographical distribution state of the respective factors of rural architecture and the rules of their development and evolution. So far, studies on rural architecture pay little attention to referring to human geographical theories and methods. In this paper, Tongshan County is taken example for studying rural architecture from the perspective of human geography.The paper is divided into two parts. In the first part, the forming and distribution characteristic of the towns in Tongshan County is discussed. Through the contrast between the distribution characteristic of the traditional towns and the development trend of the actual towns, relative proposals on distribution of the actual towns in Tongshan County are presented; In the second part, the study is presented in depth in the case of Baoshi village in Tongshan County. Firstly, the choice, division, organization and relation behavior of geographical space is proposed on the base of human geography and behavioral science; Following, from the perspective of the physiography and anthropogeography respectively, the reason forming regional characteristic of rural architecture at Baoshi village is given; Finally, the strategy of developing tourism according to the special rural architecture characteristic of Baoshi, also as its new geographical advantage in its development, is presented, which combines the preservation of rural architecture with settlement development.This paper describes a primary probe applying the methodology of human geography to the study of rural architecture. Focusing on the appliance of the method of human geography, the appliance of cartology and region analysis runs through this paper. Some revelations on methodology of rural architecture are expected to give to readers by choosing Tongshan County as case study object in this paper.
