In reccent years, many enterprises and academes devote themselves to the research of frame-processing automation.This paper chiefly studies the NC system section in the project of "frame bending robot" research.This paper bases on the LabVIEW software developed by the NI company, and its aim is that uniting the advanced measuring and controlling ways with the new controlling technique of frame-bending, and successfully developing the controlling- system of the new type NC frame bending machine, and then largely improving production efficiency and quality, and accelerating shipbuilding automation, and further grafting well-developed manufactory technology into this traditional business.Firstly, this paper introduces the LabVIEW software, and then describes the component and control methods of the new type frame bending machine, It also designs the calculating program of the controlling quantity.Secondly, this paper analyzes the main assembly of controlling system, and determines main hardware such as process computer, data acquisition card, digital signal input-output card, servomotor controlling card, servomotor, and deeply analyzes their operational principles, and then designs the hardware electric circuits which include the power circuit of controlling cabinet, input circuits of manual pitcher signal and travel switch signal, solenoid value control circuits, servo-motor control circuits..After the analysis of software system, this paper designs user interfaces and major program flow. The user interfaces mainly include as followed: patamater-setting interface, data processing interface, manual-controlling interface, auto-controlling interface, print-control interface, system selfchecking interface. Using composite programming method of "Matlab+LabVIEW", this paper programs. some important sub-modules such as data-process, data acquisition and printer control and then writes the hardware interface driver program and parameter-setting program.Finally, adopting the real frame data, this paper debugs the control system using simulate method. Now,the basic functions of the control system has been done successfully, which included parameter-setting, data input, data acquisition, data process, manual control, automatic control, print control. The debugging result initially confirms the practicability and correction of software system and the dependability of hardware system.In a word, this paper has made certain progress in the field of control system of the new type NC frame bending machine, and has done some available exploration and attempts on " The research for frame bending machine robot". It has some pracitical meaning.
