As an important control equipment of hydraulic turbine generator, hydraulic turbine governor has always been paid much more attention to by the domestic and international waterpower trade. Whether the generator units can work safely depend on the hydraulic turbine governor's quality. In recent years, with the wide use of PCC, its excellent control capability has been popular recognized. Many companies and research organizations have already begun to develop the hydraulic turbine governor on the basis of PCC. This paper has proposed a kind of control software of hydraulic turbine governor.Two questions have been resolved in this paper.1. A kind of control software has been developed with PP41(one production of PCC system). In this software, according to the different working state of units, the corresponding programs are compiled. Frequency measurements are completed with TPU. A series of display interfaces are exploited with the use of programmable software supporter by PCC. Through these interfaces, the current situation of units can be grasped, and the relevant parameters can be modified immediately.2. Due to the luck capability in the floating-point operation of PCC, the interpolation method most compatible with the axial-flow adjustable-blade water turbine collaboration can be confirmed, compared with the other collaboration interpolation method. The method is improved on the basis of regular linearity interpolation. It increases the precision of interpolation and rapidity of operation.
