From requirement, planning, design, manufacturing, stock, to reject, all of these stages make of Tools life-cycle. As competition more and more tension, aviation-products have higher requirement to tools, so we must manage tools through its all life-cycle. Shorten time; improve the quality of tool management to suit the demand of aviation-products. The essential of tool management is that the management the flow and information operation in tool life-cycle.The main research in this thesis as follow:1. Based on researching the tool management activities in aviation enterprise and , we present some advices of tool management in aviation enterprise, includes systematization, standardization , rationalization.2. Aim at management characteristic of aviation enterprise, present the concept and connotation of tool life-cycle management. Use some models analyze influence to tool life-cycle management; this models include resource model / information model/process model/function model.3. From three aspects analyzed tool life-cycle management, these aspects include the process management of tool manufacture, workshop / enterprise stock management, workshop tool management. And present fuzzy decision in tool's selection, multi-level planning in tool's management, ABC classification management in workshop stock. Stress that relationship between information flow and logistics in each stage of life-cycle.4. Based on life-cycle management theory and J2EE architecture, we developed a prototype system of tool management for ShenYang sunrise aviation engine Corp.
