Reasearch On The General Communication Platform In Substation

The development of the Substation Automation System has put forward higher demand to the communication performance of the system. The inherent defects of some old communication equipments have already shown themselves. This article proposes layered construction of the general communication platform, reducing the complexity of system development and extending the function. With the research on the general communication platform based on the embedded RTOS VxWorks ,the pattern of exchanging of data between every layer is analysed deeply, the difference between IEC60870-5-101 and 104 transmission protocol is enumerated, and the control information of 104 transmission protocol is researched emphatically. The two modes of hardware-interface layer of 104 transmission protocol are compared,and the application software which supports IEC60870-5-104 transmission protocol is worked out.
