With the continuous development of social economic development and the continuous application of all kinds of high and new technology, the power quality and power supply reliability have update and higher request, to meet the increasing social demand, the ability to improve the power grid structure and the reliability of power supply, improve the comprehensive automation is the primary goal of the electric power enterprise. Domestic about the detailed requirements of substation integrated automation system and manufacturing standards is not enough perfect, rational configuration of a set of ideal automation system is the important trend of the future. This article mainly contains the following aspects:1.Firstly, the article overview the integrated automation system, integrated substation automation system at home and abroad and the research trend are analyzed, and finally introduces the source of the subject and the background. Research object from the substation 500 kv shaping automatic monitoring system renovation project, monitoring system for substation integrated automation efficient, real-time, reliable, unified monitoring and management within the substation equipment. At the same time, and must be connected to the grid system in real-time and effective information exchange and sharing, raising the level of power grid security and stability.2.The overall design scheme of substation integrated automation system is given. Including the classification of the system architecture of substation integrated automation system requirements analysis, finally gives the overall structure of the system. In combination with the practical situation of substation 500 kv shaping system field, substation integrated automation monitoring and control system including all control layer, basic control layer and equipment layer between the three levels of construction content.3. The system is the basic of the whole system hardware platform, in a safe, reliable, open and practical choice, under the principle of implementation of remote real-time monitoring and high precision of the system operation telemetry and remote communication volume collection, the execution of corresponding integration. The whole substation system hardware mainly includes the measurement and control system, electric parameter measurement and control unit, industrial computer and network systems, human-computer interaction interface, satellite systems, and other peripherals for fashion.4. Shaping 500 kV substation integrated automation system is a large software system, it is the fusion of a number of software technology, the whole system is studied, the key technology in the following 7 kinds of: multi-threaded data acquisition, CAN network communication, multi-channel data publishing system, high-performance multi-layer database, intelligent electrical simulation graph display platform, system security system and the background monitor and external information exchange and sharing platform.5. Finally, the engineering application of the whole system gives the concrete physical figure, including the main interface, according to data acquisition device, the user management interface, etc. Development of substation integrated automation monitoring system has been used in substation 500 kV shaping, running results show that the system is stable, the equipment is in good condition, reasonable design, improve the automation level of the whole system.This article through to the shaping of 500 kV substation in the monitoring system for the design of the whole process, analyzes the function and the development of substation integrated automation of process and direction, in the market and the product under investigation and based on the main line of the layered distributed integrated automation system is a more mature and practical system, and has carried on the reasonable selection and configuration, improved the scene of the product is not in conformity with the need of parts, completed the design and implementation of the integrated substation automation system.
