The Research On The Airport Ground Capacity Evaluation

Based on the background of ChengDu ShuangLiu International Airport, the airportground capacity evaluation is deeply and systematically researched in this article fromthe aspects of theories and application. First of all, the former theories and methods ofair traffic evaluation are summarized and the definition of capacity is also discussed.Then to runway, taxi-way, apron capacity evaluation separately, we establishcorresponding capacity evaluation models and develop the methods of their capacityevaluation. After this, based on the developed model associated with the characteristicsof ChengDu Airport, the synthetical evaluation method of theoretical models combiningwith simulation evaluation is pointed out and the computer applications in the groundevaluation by using random simulation flight flow are introduced. Further more,according to the evaluation results from the system, the affection on the result ofcapacity evaluation by choosing of different paths is systematically analyzed in details.In the end, the further work on the research of ground capacity evaluation and therelevant software develop are pointed out.
