In civil, brick masonry structure is greatly applied. With the development of the society and the increasing of people's living standard, much of brick masonry buildings can't satisfy the new function standard. The technology of structure underpinning offers to a valid means that elevate their value. In the thesis, combining the engineering that five layer-brick masonry structure is reformed into the bottom-frame structure. The deformation analysis and control of structure underpinning is studied systematically. Brick masonry is a compound material composed of two different material, it's function of the anti-tension is worse. So it is important to control structure deformation during structure underpinning first. In accordance to underpinning structure character and construction request, the thesis has analyzed and compared familiar prop types in structure underpinning engineering, further put forward a new prop system and structure type. Applying ANASYS first, the thesis carries out a non-linear finite element analysis to structure underpinning system. Acquiring their stress distribution and deformation with different distance of steel prop and providing a theory basis for confirming prop distance. So validly control structure deformation. Finally, an example is given to prove that the method of deform analysis and the method of deformation control are of a value of the research and application. Through what mentioned above, a good reference for improving the treatment theory and construction of structure underpinning is provided.
