Design And Realization Of Network Management In Master Station Of Electric Power Automation System

The electric power dispatch automation system is divided into master station, communication system and all kinds of terminal units. Master station is the core to dispatch automation system, and it runs on LAN. How to manage this LAN rationally is the base of master station works well. Current network management software can't satisfy our demands, so we design a real-time and reliable network management system. At first, this article introduces present condition of network management of master station in electric power dispatch automation system. Network management of master station includes configure management, fault management, performance management and security management, this article gives the operations of all management functions. By analyzing techniques used in current network management software, we find it has some questions in real-time and reliability, and then we choose the research task. Secondly, we put forward the three important techniques for the network management system: the quick diagnose of network card status, the quick diagnose of network link status and reliable status judgment of LAN. We expatiates the feasibility in practice and theory. Then we design the network structure,functions and capability of the software by logical structure, establish design principle and technique adopted to functions, list flow chart, expatiate object modem,object modules and interfaces. At last, the result is listed, it indicates that the network management system can satisfy current master station's network management requirement, it achieves the real-time,reliable and practical demands, it has been successful used in Electric Power Automation System.
