The carrying capacity of the rotative bearing was analyzed in this paper. The large three-rows-roller rotative bearing was designed For supporting the biggish axial load and radial load and overturning moment, and applying for the uprising machine in port and other large-scale machines. By calculating of different type and device, the reasonable structure form and device parameter was achieved, and its reliability was ensured by calculating of carrying capacity of static and dynamic state. The primary factor influencing the useful life of rotative bearing and the important factors influencing the quality of the roll-path surface was analyzed. The best parameter of surface quench that improving the surface rigidity of the roller and depth of layer of harden quench was advanced by a series of experiment. Also the theory of proportion relation among the layers of harden quench and transition and extension was founded. It was indicated that the capability and life of the rotative bearing was suitable for the machine.
