Architectural servicing and alteration plays a more and more important role in modern economic construction and social development. In 1980's the new building in steel and iron industry increased only 20% in china. However, the output of steel increased from 3000 myriad ton to 6000 myriad ton, Which is mainly due to the rebuilding and extension of the old buildings. Compared with new construction, rebuilding can retrench 40% bankroll, shorten the time limit for a project by 50% and the disinvestments rate is three or four times faster. Among the present buildings of the cities in china, 20%~30% have some conditions of adding floors or rebuilding. However, architectural service and alteration must ensure the reliability of the buildings. Thus the reliability of the design of construction engineering is the core of the buildings whole life. Most of the engineering accidents are caused by design misplay or construction mistake. Therefore assuring and advancing the quality of design and construction have an all-important meaning for the control of construction reliability. This thesis mainly studies the rebuilding design of double-deck collocated stokehold and the feasibility of it. The technical schemes of the study are as follows: first, generally investigate the present using status and collect relevant technical information; next, combing the special technical request of stokehold, make a new structure arrangement on the basis of the original one; Then, make mechanical and conditional analysis to the main part of the structure; after that, make another analysis for the reliability of the original stokehold; finally, offer a reasonable plan for rebuilding and reinforcement and propose some rationalization advice. The rebuilding and reinforcement project brought forward in this thesis not only contents the demand for expanding stokehold, but also advances the reliability of the whole structure. This thesis offers a valuable reference to the actual application for the rebuilding of double-deck collocated stokehold.
