Research Of The Creative Industrial Centralization In Shanghai

This paper is the pilot study about the Creative Industrial Centralization in Shanghai, especially about the kind of Centralization reformed from those old industry buildings as the workshops and warehouse and focuses on the rebuilding and reuse of the old industry buildings.By collecting data and making survey of the Centralizations in Shanghai, the basic information on the phenomenon of Centralization could be concluded, and then, the study scope could be defined into the kind of Centralization reformed from the old industry buildings. With the six typical Creative Industrial Centralizations recreated from old industry buildings as the study object, by collecting information and investigating locally (through mapping, photographing, questionnaire), basic information would be analyzed, especially about the space, interface and users' feeling, and the contents and characteristics of this kind of rebuilding and reusing of industry buildings could be summed up. In the end of the paper, some problems the Centralizations in Shanghai facing up would be put forward and good wishing for the development of the Creative Industrial Centralization.The main body of the paper consists of four sections: the survey of the status in quo of the Creative Industrial Centralization and the protect and reuse of old industry buildings, the investigation of the six typical Centralizations which are reformed from old industry buildings, the classification and characteristic of this kind of Centralization, some problems the Centralization facing up and the conclusion of the paper.
