With the products more and more diversifying, quick renewing and complexion, and the competition between the companies getting keener, the traditional products design and test skill is too difficult to meet the requirement of the company subsisting and developing now. So the Virtual Prototype Technology (VPT) which is a new digital design method is used to resolve the problem. Based on the perfect 3-dimensional computer graphic technology, graphic user interface technology, information technology, integration technology multi-media technology, and parallel technology and so on, the VPT dose well in optimizing design, testing property, and simulating the manufacture or using state of the products.This thesis analyses the essential theories, basic methods, and basic skills of VPT, and researches how to use the VPT skill in the products design and test simulation with the help of the ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical System) which is large-scale virtual product software. It also researches how to use the theory and skill of VPT in the specific design through building the 3-dimensional model of the vibration mill's complete machine and single particle in ADAMS by using the horizontal vibration mill (calling vibration mill below) as the example.This thesis firstly puts forward three valued targets which assess the force of the particle through using the parameter skill to deeply research and analysis the major parameters of the vibration mill, such as the machine dynamical parameters, structure parameters, and the particle parameters. It researches each of the parameters affection to three valued targets, and gets the relationships between them. It also provides the newest achievement about the study of the vibration mill, which establish the theory foundation of the researching the dynamical theory of the vibration mill. Using the simulating and analytic skill, this thesis deeply researches the machine moving, particle moving, particle forced and so on. So it clearly expounds the kinematics and dynamicstraits of the container and particle, which provide the optimization and relationship of the parameters for a series of products.The analysis skill and the conclusion, especially the particle collision model and simulate result, are import reference for the method of material shatter, the design of the collided shatter machine. It also is a useful reference method for the relation subjects.
