Dynamic human phantom is an essential testing tool of many destructive experiments such as automobile impacting experiments, chair launching experiments of plane, parachute jumping experiments, helicopter landing experiments. It imitates human figuration and inside structure to research the damnification of human body in destructive experiments.Euramerican dynamic safety phantoms have been designed according to European body parameters. The phantoms are based on European stature features and mechanics characters. When testing, the energy received by human body will be different because of the difference of race. So Euramerican dynamic safety phantoms can not be used in Chinese safety experiments. So it is important to produce dynamic safety phantoms based on Chinese stature features and mechanics characters.The correlation, distributional characteristics, statistical rules and rough estimating methods of variables of Chinese body dimensions are briefly presented in the paper, and the main body dimensions of airman belonging to 5th percentile,50th percentile and 95th percentile of stature and avoirdupois are calculated. The bone structures have been studied, and the types of arthrosis, the motion of arthrosis, human body's movement chain and athletic degree of freedom are analyzed. When we design the mechanical structures of dynamic phantom according to Chinese body parameters, the movements of human body have been simplified, and the materialand manufacturing technics of the parts have been taken into account. At the same time, European experiences are referred to. The mechanical system can simulate human body's motions, such as rotation, bending, adduction, abduction.UG, copyright reserved by American Unigraphics Solutions Corporation, is a compositive system software integrated machinery CAD/CAE/CAM. It is based on composite modeling, feature modeling and assemble modeling technology and can be used to design complicated products. The mechanical structure of dynamic phantom have been designed by UG, which will be the basis of further study.
