Designing And Realization Of Local Control Unit Based On PCC

For hydropower station, monitoring system is the base of it's integrated automation, and is the premise of realizing the condition that nobody is needed on duty (or few on duty). With the rapid development and mature of computer and electronic technology, micro-computer power station monitoring system with advanced performance and reliable functions has been applied widely. And Local Control Unit, namely LCU(abbreviation of Local Control Unit) is the base and core of hydropower station monitoring system, the performance of which result in the running status of the whole computer monitoring system directly. In this paper, with the advanced widely-open monitoring designing ideas and the existing project of Changan hydropower station, based on the summarization and analysis of the old Local Control Unit designing principle, an advanced technique and production in the field of industry control, that is PCC, is introduced in the hydropower station control, which makes hydropower station monitoring system have a new breakthrough either in technique or in structure. The functional level of this system is much more clear and the reliability and real time is better.In this paper, the general situation about the automation of hydropower station, the designing structure and characteristic of LCU in existence are summarized firstly, then the reason of selecting micro-computer controller is given. In the chapter 3, the general design of this system is depicted generally, including the selection of control structure and control mode, the design requirements of LCU and the realization of function. Subsequently, hardware design and software design of LCU based on PCC is expatiated in detail, including electric circuit design, communication design, disturb-resist design, program design etc. In the end, the local test about this system is introduced, and the impersonal elevation and foreground about the system are given.This control system has been applied successfully, and the situation of running proves the superiority of this system.
