With the rapid development of China’s economy,the social demand for power energy supply is increasing day by day,and the total installed capacity of China’s power plants is also increasing.With the gradual increase of the scale of the power grid,the network security problem has become increasingly prominent.It is necessary to improve the stability,security and power quality of the power grid to meet its future development requirements,which requires the development of a high-performance monitoring system for power generation enterprises.A Hydropower Station,with an installed capacity of 700 MW,is the main power station of the power grid in northeast Sichuan province.The Nanrui SSJ 3060 computer monitoring system,which was put into formal operation in May 2001,has laid a solid equipment foundation for safe and continuous power generation and supply,and improved the comprehensive automation level of the power station.In this paper,from the hydropower station computer monitoring system defects equipment performance cannot meet the power requirements,and an extensible system began to analysis,it is concluded that the hydropower station computer monitoring system,the necessity of redesign hydropower station at home and abroad at present,the development of computer monitoring and control system is analyzed,the present situation and development trend according to the actual situation and the characteristics of monitoring system,hydropower station in the hydropower station computer monitoring system based on the study of the demand,accord with the actual design is proposedBy studying the network structure,local control unit,safety protection,AGC/AVC,etc.,and combining with the equipment structure on site and actual production situation,a safe and feasible design scheme that meets the requirements is found.On the basis of the design of the overall structure of the system,the hardware and software are selected and configured.At the same time,the shutdown process,AVC/AGC and other functions are studied and designed to improve the automation and information level of production operationModern hydropower station computer monitoring system is the product of automation technology,information technology,network technology,multimedia technology and other disciplines.By collecting,monitoring,adjusting and operating the parameters of the operation equipment of hydropower station,the computer monitoring system not only saves the labor cost and reduces the working pressure of the staff,but also greatly improves the production efficiency and safety reliability.
