A Study Of Urban Agglomeration Spatial Formation During The Process Of Urbanization In Chinese Central Region

The emergence of urban agglomeration is a distinct character during the process of the urbanization in China; it requires the research of urban formation switches from an apart and isolated city to an urban area formation with a more huge range. To some degree, urban area formation is a part of urban formation, but it has its own characteristics. Urban area is related to the macroscopical territorial structure of the economy space and population space in an expansive degree, therefore it focuses on the influence of urban distributing formation which comes from the developing trend of the regional space finance flow, material flow, and information flow.First, this thesis concludes the space formation of urban agglomerations; analyze regional deveolping strategy and policy evolution since the foundation of China. Through comparing research of the urban agglomeration spatial formation of the East and West region, the thesis analyze in quality the spatial formation of urban agglomerations of the Central region during the process of the urbanization in China, and then calculate the intensity of urban flow of the main urban agglomerations in the Central region, and construct a model of the intensity of urban flow, analyze in quantity the amount relation of the centralize energy from the urban extroverted function(centralization and radialization) and mutual influence between city and country. Finally, the thesis forecasts the developing trend of urban agglomerations spatial formation in the Central region, and put forward some advices about the development of urban agglomerations.This cenrury Central region urbanization will come into a high speed developing stage, the research of the spatial formation of urban agglomeration in this region is propitious to the healthy development of urbanization, and exert the centralization and radialization effect with the biggest degree. With the progress of the urbanization, new problem and contravention will appear persistently, and new research will go on.
